International Conference on Multidisciplinary Research is an annual event which has been organized by Research and Community Service Justify (Lembaga Penelitian dan Pegabdian Masyarakat, LP2M) of Serambi Mekkah University (Universitas Serambi Mekkah, USM) Aceh. This current international conference is the second year event, which has been started from last year 2015.
The main objective of this conference is to provide a platform for researchers to share research results in various fields. By doing so, it aims to improve the culture of research and collaboration among scholars and researchers both regionally and internationally. International Conference on Multidisciplinary Research (ICMR-USMA) is expected to be a platform for researchers and actors of developmental programs from public and private sector to share their findings and provide insights to explore current discoveries and technologies.
Regarding this second year event, the theme of the conference is ‘Improving Human Resource Quality Through Research and Development in Higher Education’.
Qualified human resources has become great demand in one hand, and governments and different institutions, including higher education of academics and universities are challenged in another. The imbalance supply of reliable quality of human resources would prolong when effort to minimize problem is not properly taking care of. Therefore, experts of researchers and actors from different disciplines (social science, science, applied sciences, natural sciences and engineering, etc.) would be inspired to sit together to offer their thoughts from different perspectives.
